the umlaut and connect FIXED-LINE NETWORK TEST IN Switzerland

Starting in 2023, umlaut and connect use umlaut’s sophisticated Crowdsourcing methodology to also test the fixed-line networks in Switzerland.

connect tested the Swiss fixed-line networks starting in 2020. After doing this for a total of three times, connect followed its decision which premiered for the fixed networks in Germany, also for the alpine countries of Austria and Switzerland. The first fixed-line test for Switzerland which was based on umlaut’s crowdsourcing methodology thus was published in summer 2023.

The new approach focuses on of the performance and qua­lity actually experienced by custo­mers with their connections. Another advantage is that the results of our fixed-­network tests are now also more comparable between different countries.
